The MP3 Music Awards (MMA) is an annual awards ceremony established in 2007 to celebrate and award the most popular artists and bands as well as the best mp3 players and mp3 retailers in today's world of music.

MMA act as a major industry catalyst, creating the conditions to inspire diverse artists / bands and audiences whilst shaping memorable and unforgettable experiences. MP3 Music Awards works with industry individuals, sponsors and media partners across the UK and overseas.

Now the awards heads into its 4th year, MMA is now firmly established as one of the most important events on the industry calendar and has a past guest list that includes an array of industry celebrities, and top media executives.

MMA is dedicated to producing, promoting and presenting world-class live entertainment.

We also hosts and produce a huge variety of musical events, concerts, live tours and industry seminars.

1st April 2010 we created a brand new TV show entitled Play That Track and launched the website on 29th April. www.playthattrack.co.uk

Basic Description: Ground-Breaking New Series!
A panel of celebrity Radio DJs from the best radio stations in the UK, i.e. Capital FM, Absolute/Virgin, Kiss FM and BBC Radio get told by viewers which track they most love or hate, by voting “Play That Track” or “Sorry Its Wack” and the contestant who receives the lowest amount of votes will be eliminated from the competition. Play That Track aims to discover the best talent in the country through a series of nationwide auditions judged by celebrity Radio DJ’s in which viewer voting determines the winner.

The audition for Play That Track will take place at various locations in the UK and be held within a dedicated studio environment, allowing people of any age to enter by simply turning up to one of our open auditions... or via an online submissions process, which will allows talented people to record their signing demo from back in their home town.

After a meeting between the Head of BBC Music "Mark Cooper" and MP3 Music Awards CEO "Roger M Clavier". Major changes were made to MMA 2009, which involved awarding major selling recording artists whilst continuing to support new and unsigned acts from around the world.

MMA 2007 highlights: Akon ft Trinity Chris mp3 submission, Chenelle performing "I Fell in Love with the DJ" live, Wretch 32 performances, Ellis Rich, Imaami, Jules Standen, Helen Gammons were MMA’s industry panel. Sony, Emi, DJ Sir Charles, and BBC attend the first annual awards. Broadcast live online in association with RawFlow and Selfcast. RawFlow used its Live CDN service, located across Europe and Scandinavia, to deliver all live content to its subsidiaries in Europe on the night of MMA 2007. In addition the content was also broadcast globally, via RMC TV and Rawflow’s CDN partners, across five different continents. MMA signed an exclusive 1 year partnership agreement with PRS Chairman Ellis Rich. MMA 2009 highlights: MMA created the first all-in-one Judging Jukebox Player with Adobe developers. 7 Digital wins the BMR Award - Best MP3 Retailer and Apple iPod Classic 160GB win the BMP Award for the Best MP3 Player. In US talks with Jacqueline McQuarn, who represent Tracey Edmonds. Matt Potter, HMV - Get Closer displays major interest, MTV displays massive support for MMA 2009 Winners, which includes Kings Of Leons, Lady Gaga, Agnes Carlsson and many more. Pentland, Kickers Footwear www.kickers.co.uk became sponsors of MMA 2009. Bryan Kim, Casey Georgeson, Suzanne Tran, Ustream TV who have worked with dozens of music artists like P.
