About Us
The mp3 music awards! Is open to artists and bands, who want to gain exposure but most importantly has what it takes to become the next big sensation. Our event povides a potential “gateway” to a career in the entertainment industry while setting new standards by providing every participant with a real experience of a live awards event whilst retaining the fun and excitement of today’s music.

The MMA’s is designed to supports new music and aims to provide a platform for artists and bands from around the world to showcase their skills and creative musical ability in front of a live audience.

Now coming into its 2nd year, the MP3 Music Awards is firmly established as one of the most important events on the industry calendar and has a past guest list that includes an array of industry celebrities, and top executives.

2007 MMA’s was a great success attended by the likes of BBC, Capital VIP,  TL Audio, EMI, Sony, PRS, Channel U, Music Week, CheNelle USA, Charles Dixon USA, Wretch 32, Sadie Flower, Lydia Louisa and many more industry individual alongside a crowd of music lovers and the MMA finalists fans.

Inaugural MP3 Music Awards deemed a success

Monday, December 3, marked the first annual MP3 Awards, official sponsored by
TL Audio, IMG Music Publishers and Memorabilia Travel alongside Raw Flow, Selfcast, Loop Masters, Goldstar Limousines, A & K Trading, Imperial Flooring, Ocean Fall and A1 DJ services
 
The fledgling event was conceived to support new talent / new music and allow fresh artists from around the world to showcase their talent and creative flair before a live audience. For the seven winners, the awards represent a foot in the door to the entertainment industry.
 
The 18 finalists – selected from public votes – were joined by established artists, such as newly signed US, Capital records recording artist, Che’Nelle, alongside Wretch 32 and Rod Aaron Gammons at the evening hosted by former US, CBS Morning Show presenter, Sonia Uribe at The Grand, London.
 
An esteemed panel of judges, including PRS Chairman Ellis Rich, Helen Gammons, Imaani and Jules Standen, the engineer behind The Lemonheads radio hit, Mrs Robinson, were on hand to choose an overall winner from each of the six categories. Chocolate Blonde won the BPA Award, Best Performing Act and was one of the artists lucky enough to take home a three-year publishing agreement and a high spec, TL Audio Class A Quality Tube outboard unit.
 
Sarah Yule, Sales and Marketing Manager at TL Audio, commented on the success of the evening: “It went really well, there were some great performances on the night and I thought that for the first show, they really pulled it off. It was exciting to see the wealth of talent there and as the years go by, the popularity of the event and the turnout will grow.”
 
Ellis Rich, Chairmen of PRS and CEO of IMG Music Publishers, also commented on the success of the event: “Well done, about time for an event like this.
